Big Red Sunset Tour

Experience the beauty and majesty of the Simpson Desert at the end of the day at one of the most unique and isolated location in the world. Your viewing platform is at the peak of Nappanerica or better known as ‘Big Red’. Enjoy nibblies with a bush tucker twist - all you have to do is bring your favourite tipple and a chair. Nappanerica is the highest sand hill in the Simpson Desert and at 40 metres high this red beauty has invoked fear and dread in four wheel drivers for decades.

We will get you there in a comfortable air conditioned 18 seater bus as the desert is only 40 kms from town. Bring your walking shoes as half the fun is getting to the top!
